Zydot Ultra Clean acts as a stripping and masking agent. It strips the hair follicle of external contaminants and leaves an invisible film on the hair to help change the outcome of your hair follicle test.

Around 5 years ago, laboratories changed their testing routine by soaking hair samples in a mild detergent first to remove hairspray, gels, and surface masking agents. Strong detergents are avoided because they would strip the internal drug metabolites in the follicle, which would defeat their test.
